I've been trying to figure out some little problem??

Hi everyone,
Well I just bought a Grey Tang last week. I usually take my time to watch new arrivals before adding them to my tank. I have a 55 gal show tank which I promise I'll post pic's of soon. Anyhow, I floated the Tang for a while it was doing great. Then two days after I noticed little tiny white specs all over it's body.
DAM! I thought I should of put him into the hospital tank. I never really have any problems with any kind of parasites, but there is always a first I guess. The Marine Pet shop I get my reef supplies and stock from have always pre treated there specimens and watch them before they actually sell them. Well to make things short.... The fish died and made a moderate dinner for my two green bristle star fish. Man those star fish are great at taking care of dead things.
I'll let you know what happens to any new live stock I might be feeding to my star fish.. Ha ha.. Yeah..
